JP1 Remotes

Hi,

I know most people ask the opposite question -- but is it possible to disable the RF portion of a 2117 and use it for *only* infrared? Is the "operation" reversible?

Not by software or JP1 programming, only by physically removing or disabling the transmitter module, which would typically be replaceable, if you are careful.
