Inteset INT-422 extender anyone?

I don't have one of these remotes but in October when I was in Europe I built a version of the extender that should support the remote. But someone downloaded it and their remote got bricked, but the brick symptoms are similar to the brick symptoms of a number of other JP1.3 remotes that got into weird mode with the cable so I'm not sure if the extender did it or something else happened.

If there is someone who is willing to download a couple of test versions of the extender and validate that it does in fact activate and deactivate properly (this may take a few times to make sure that we're using the right spots) I'd be much obliged.

Otherwise if someone wants to send me a remote that would be cool as well. If I brick it I'll return it to you with the Insignia board in it since I have a couple of those lying around in broken cases. (to the person whose remote bricked before, I forgot about this and if you want one as well let me know)

This will be 3.03 of the common extender, if anyone has any changes suggested please let me know.

Did anything come of this? I don't want to sacrifice my INT-422 for testing which might potentially brick it because I don't have another remote to fall back on, but I am interested in an extender for this remote once it's deemed safe.

Thanks for working on it!

I don't have one so can't test it.

I'd love to validate that the V3.03 extender works on this remote, but will need to either get my hands on one or have someone willing to take the risk of making a brick (which I think is reasonably low risk)

Still looking

the extender for the Inteset 422-1 and 422-2 seem to work, one person is testing it. But i happen to have one (he sent it to me) that I can validate that the extender at least activates and doesn't brick the remote.

the Inteset 422 should be a straight port, I just need to find one

So, now it's 2019. Has anyone validated this extender for the INT 422-3? I have bought one, and I'm diving into the JP1/RMIR world with it. Being a rank newbie, I don't know if it would be wise to me to try this extender.

I've not done anything with the extender for years now. I'd kind of given up on getting a real 422-3 to try.

What's the signature on the remote? (it's on the raw data tab in RMIR)

I will get back after I my cable arrives. As I said, I'm a rank newbie.

When I get the cable, my plan is to download the remote, hopefully saving the learns, key moves, and macros that I've already programmed with the 9XX-code user interface. Then I will reset the remote, and download again and save that initial state, and report back here.

My RMIR software that I just download includes files "361203 (Inteset INT-422-3).rdf" and "3X943X94 (Inteset INT-422 Extender V3.03).rdf"

If the signature is 361203 then it is not a JP1.3 remote and the extender won't work.

If it's of the form 3xxx3xxx then it's likely that I can make the extender work since it's a JP1.3 remote

OK, I received the cable, and the signature is 361203. As I said, I'm a newbie, so I have plenty to learn without an extender. Thanks for your help.
