I have a Slingbox Solo and a Airties Air 7210. When I put in the bin file there is a problem with double click.
Can anyone help me with that?

I have also a Airties Air 7120 and there is the same problem with the double click.

I see that Alan has an Airties Air 7210 bins in the archived area, meaning that nobody ever confirmed it worked.
I also have an unproven airties 7120 upgrade, that I made for someone and they never responded.

We can make either of these non repeating, but I will only do it if you promise to confirm or deny it works when I am done.

Which bin did you download?
Do both boxes work off the same bin?
If not, which one do you really want, the 7210 or the 7120?

I have tryed both bin files and both have the same error with double click.
Of couse I will report back, I promise.
I do not think they can use the same bin file.
But the 7210 is the most important, so that would be nice.

Airties Air 7210 No repeats

This should work. You'd be surprised how often we do this for people and then they never ever let us know if we did okay, or if they just gave up.

Glad to have you back Alan.

If the person that originally asked for this, had given you an answer, we would have had this sorted out long ago. I just don't understand what is so difficult about leaving feedback.

I see you've been busy since you've been back,

I'm getting an error message

1. Which file were you trying to load, please give a URL?
2. Did you un-zip it first?
3. If the file contained both PL and RV versions, which one were you trying to load when you got the error message?

Hi Rob,

It was this file: https://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... e_id=12819

And yes, I unzipped it before trying to upload to sling box. I tried both files, and both returned the same error message.

I have tried to reset the sling box twice... same error every time.

I was just reading the instructions and I see that Alan predicts this message and one possibility is that you have mis-typed the location of the bin file, is that possible? I don't know if it's case sensitive, so I would assume that it is.

Also, I notice that the bin files in that zip start with the letter "V", which means you have to select PVR as the device type, did you do that?

Yes, I'm copying the path directly from the computer just to be sure I got the 100& correct path
And yes, I have chosen PVR / Custom

Well, that's as far as I can take you. You'll have to wait for Alan now to see if he has any further ideas.

Not really, the only times you should get that message are if you are trying to use the RV file on a Pro-HD (You must use the PL file) and if the system is not finding the file.

Where have you put it ? Are you following my advice and putting it in the C: root directory ? What EXACTLY are you typing in the location box ?

It might be an idea to take some screenshots, I would like to see the following:
1. a shot of Windows Explorer confirming where you saved the bin file
2. a shot of you selecting PVR
3. a shot of the screen where you enter the bin file name

I know you say that you've entered the name 100% correct, and I don't mean to doubt you, but something's not working and we're out of ideas as to what.
