I've got two URC 9910's which used to be programmable with my cable which connected to an old computer's printer port. I still have the remotes and the cable, but my computer does NOT have a printer port.

How do I connect my old cable and be able to program the remote from my computer..

or...how do I obtain a cable with the six pin connector on one end, and a USB cable on the other?

I'd like to ask my wife for this cable for Christmas. Can anyone help?

Here's the one I opted for. A bit more expensive than some, but I felt confident in the quality. Works great.

These days, nobody makes a USB to 6 pin connector cable that will work directly with EEPROM based remotes like the 9910. Instead, use a JP1.2/1.3 flash cable (like Steve linked to above), and interpose a JP1 adapter. DIY Gadget and other vendors sell the JP1 adapter. I do recommend buying a JP12./1.3 flash cable that uses FTDI chips, and not one that uses Prolific chips (e.g. the cables made by Tiao). FTDI has excellent drivers that will work with any operating system.
