Regarding the Toshiba and LG, please open two separate threads in the Code Search forum, using the required template.
Regarding the Yamaha, if the device doesn't have a true POWER toggle button, then yes, this sounds normal.

HERE is the template. I think I remember your post from the logitech forums. Once you fill out the template, we'll have all the info we need in order to help you out. But I already know from your post on the other board that you don't have a JP1 cable and would be interested in wav upgrades for the subject devices. Those are already in our file section. We can easily fix your yamaha power issues as well. So you could just load the required software and make the wav file(s) yourself, or perhaps one of use could do it for you. You'll have more flexibility in the future if you learn to do it yourself.
If it keeps you from buying a harmony 900 (I despise the 900), I'll make the wav myself, this time. Just list how your remote is set up now so I can duplicate what you've got, and I can make a complete wav file for you with all your old and new stuff. I'd need any devices and setup codes as well as any learns, macros and keymoves you may have programmed that you want to keep.
In the mean time read the JP1 stuff in the beginner sticky threads so you'll have a general idea how the software works. When you get the software installed, you can download the upgrades for your toshiba and LG and paste them from the RM program to the IR program which is then used to create the wav file. Then hold your remote up to your computer speaker, play the wav and it will load the new codes into your remote.
3FG,
I rarely make wav files. Does the exporting only upgrades to wav work, or do you have to do the entire image? I remember having problems getting just the upgrade export to work in the past.

I believe that it does work. However, I don't have a modem equipped remote, so I can't do a straighforward check.
I can take a UEI provided .WAV file, read the contents into a spreadsheet, extract the upgrade, import it into RM (making sure to match the remote to the signature in the WAV file), then copy the output of RM to IR and add the upgrade (and protocol upgrade if necessary). Then using IR to generate a upgrade-only WAV file yields a file of the same size as the original. I'll check tonight to see if the files match byte for byte.
ETA: THe original WAV file, and one reconstituted via RM and IR, are identical.
