Look up, the link to the file section is at the top of this page.

Robman, I am aware of that section but couldn't figure out how to start a new thread to add a new file.

Here's how to post a file in the file section:
- navigate to the file section HERE (note this is for completed upgrades
- click the upload widget near the top
- fill out the required fields, browse to the file on your local machine, or to a url
- click upload.

... and you're done.

Threads and files are different things. To add a new file, first go to the File Section, then select the folder where you'd like to add your file. I don't know what an "Nfusion HD" is, but if it's a DVD player, for example, you would select the DVD folder, under "Device Upgrades", then you would click on the Image button to actually upload your file.

I checked the other nFusion upgrade that we have and the codes in that file match yours, and it has both Exit and Fav with the same codes, so I don't know why they don't work for you.

If you load your IR file, I might spot an error there. Have you tried assigning Fav and Exit to different buttons, just to verify if the codes are correct?

Rob,

Exit and Fav buttons work if I assign them to different buttons (L1, L2 for instanance). I can not reassign keys to Exit/Fav using remote control keymove function.
I will post the link to IR file once I upload it.

thanks for your help.

At this point, I still don't know which remote you are using. The EXIT button is not manually programmable on most LCD screen remotes because it exits the on screen menus, but it is programmable as part of an upgrade.

The FAV button varies by remote. In most older remotes you can only program it when you use an extender.

Rob,

I have URC-8910. I uploaded my .ir file. Here is where it can be found.
https://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... le_id=6423
After I ported 2004 (Nfusion HD) upgrade I had to learn exit command to L1 button.
PS: I also that com/skip button doesn't work. It's using keymove - can be seen in ir.

It's interesting. I've created a key move for exit (EFC 117) button in IR. And it doesn't work. But moving 6 (EFC 182) to #5 worked.

Jeff, thanks for posting the directions how to upload the file (somehow I missed them before). Perhaps you have some idea what's going on with my remote. I may have to learn how to use RM and try creating upgrade there or use upgrade that was created before for Nova receiver but don't understand how this would make a difference. Looking in IR.exe I see exit is assigned to EFC 117 but the remote doesn't take it...

The exit key is defined as efc 117, I can see that.

In your linked IR file, it looks like your keymove for the exit key, device setup code 2002 was defined to some odd hex command. I've uploaded a version where I've change line #4 on the key move tab of IR, for key Exit to EFC 117. See if that works. LINK

Thank you Jeff.
2002 is a setup code for a different receiver. 2004 is the Nfusion HD code. I think only ComSkip required a key move for nfusion HD (2004), but the key doesn't work.
