JP1 Remotes

It may be "just me" and I have not had time to test this on another computer, but I cannot download the complete Maps and Images Zip file. It starts downloading seemingly normally, displaying X.XX MB of 3.84 MB, but abruptly "finishes" at 1.92 MB and thereafter will not open, giving an alert that says the file is invalid or corrupted.

Runnning XP SP2 with IE 7.

I got a PM on this yesterday and was able to download it with no problem. I just tried again and it downloaded fine. However, I am on Linux with Firefox right now.

Any way, I just uploaded a fresh copy so please try it again.

Any idea why the maps and images download keeps terminating at 81-82% completion? Anyone else with this issue?

I just downloaded it without any problem. I've loaded a copy of it to another server so you can see if it downloads any better from there.

This file HERE , the remote images and maps required for RM, won't fully download. The download stops a around 2.6Mb of 3.11Mb. Can anyone help?

Fourth attempt did download the full file. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I'm not sure what's going on but I can't download the Maps + Images file at all.

I've tried different times/days over the past week on computers running XP (both Firefox 3 and IE 7) and OS X (10.5.6) (Safari 3, Firefox) and it never works.

I get 2.5~2.8mb of the file and it stops, saying "complete" but the file won't open in WinZip or any other expander program because it's corrupted.

I've even tried both computers on different connections (at work and at home).

HELP!

I've been trying to download this for nearly a week - I've tried different computers, different OS's, different times of day, different browsers, even different ISP's, but the download always fails around 2.5mb.

Any suggestions/help would be most appreciated.

Several people have reported this file is corrupted:

So, as an independent test, I tried it also and sure enough, the download halts part way through and the zip file is not usable. I have a good version of this file alread, so no one needs to send one to me. I just wanted you to know that there does appear to be a problem with this file.

I have replaced this file 3 times since the first comment. I have received numerous PM's and e-mails from users. When I e-mail the file to people they say it is good.

So, what I have done is completely removed the file and uploaded a new one.

Hi guys,
I am back on the JP1 bandwagon. I thought I'd give Remote Master a try and while downloading files, the Maps and Images file keeps coming out corrupted. Can someone verify this for me, or let me know if I need to be in a different area than the tools....main section to get this file?
