About the specs of my project there isn't so much to say. I must copy the specs of the original controller so everything is based on it.

Well... after checking my signal by the osciloscope and not get the full wave neither the same times for pulse as Rob, I decided to capture the signal with the sound card and analyze it with a sound edition sofware.

Now I must to go bed cause here it's late. If I'm not wrong, 7 hours more. Tomorrow I'll tell you how it goes.

Using the sound card to capture the signal it's much more easier I think it matches with Rob's pattern. Tonight probably I'll check the full signal to confirm this.

Curious, have you considered either purchasing or making an IR Widget so you can use IR Scope instead? It seems like to me you're spending a lot of effort trying to "reinvent the wheel" so-to-speak.

The IR scope could be an interesting option as well. Using the sound card look more or less the same and cheaper. I'll carry on with the sound card by now.

I tried to drop the pronto hex into the import screen on IRScope, but it didn't go, so I opened Rob's IR file and grabbed the learn from there. Interenting there is a partial-first frame. I don't think that was meant to be there, and I don't know anything about the UEI learned format so I don't know how to correct that. The second frame shows the signal Rob was describing.

Michael, a lot of osciliscope software will invert the timings, with the on-time going down instead of up.

Hopefully the picture will explain things a little, and help you identify the same parts in your signal.

An idea comes to my mind. My coputer has got a IR receptor. Maybe it'd be compatible with the IRscope. When I was back at home I will try it.

The Pronto Hex I posted are learned signals in the CCF file linked to in the 1st post of this thread. I just used ProntoEdit to convert them from CCF format to Pronto Hex. So we don't know any other signals. However, if you read Rob's comments, Temp+ or - very likely sends a complete specification including the new temperature. The OEM remote knows the current temperature, and does the arithmetic to make the IR signal. However, we don't know the meaning of the bits in such a signal.

Do you know of any tools to convert the sample .ict files to lirc.conf formats.
So that i could test it and check if it works
