Hi bill and others,
I'm keeping an eye on this but, unfortunately I am of no help for you as I know nothing about programming this stuff, but I'm ready to jump in to test things as soo as they are available...
Thanks for all the work you are doing, guys!
Have a good weekend

If I wanted to submit a modified/corrected map file, how would I do so?

I have a modified All for One URC-8910 (jp1 usb cable) and a Pioneer DVR-510h. I need the rdf file to convert the URC-8910 to a Pioneer Service Remote to replace the harddrive in my Pioneer.
I have the file "PioneerDVR520H-GGF1381.txt, pcf, and bmp but I get an error when trying to use this file.
Please, can anyone help with this? Thanks
Keith

I am in the process of building the next release of the RDF's, Maps, and Images and I need your help.
Part of the process I go through is:
1) Look through the forums and see if any problems or requests for specific RDF's, Map's or Image's are there and make the necessary changes.
2) Look through the RDF folder for new or updated RDF's, Maps and Images to include.
3) Standardize names of RDF's and names of buttons etc. for the new or updated RDF's.
4) Create Maps and Images for RDF's if I can.
5) Test all the new or updated RDF's, Maps and Images. (Long tedious process)
6) Remove RDF''s, Maps and Images from the submission folder once they are in a release.
Where I would like some help is in two areas
1) If you have submitted an RDF and/or Maps and Images in the folder and believe it is a "release candidate" please nominate it for inclusion. A link would help.
2) If you submitted an RDF and can provide Maps and Images please do so.
Thanks
Nils

Here are the latest (AFAIK) rdf's for the Atlas 5-device family of remotes (URC-(1)1054, 55, 56), including maps and images for the URC-1056 OCAPs.
The 30003000 and 30333033 extender rdfs continue to evolve, so I will defer to unclemiltie on when those are ready for wider distro.

This is probably the wrong place to post this, but I note in the 30333033 extender rdf that there is some confusion between AUX and VCR. On the remote the button is VCR. In all the drop downs in IR, I see AUX. does the rdf set that? Does it not matter?
Best,
jeff

I believe the General Tab in IR.exe has the ButtonName(VCR) and the drop downs have the device types(AUX).

It is actually a combination of the RDF and the map file that controls that but primarily you are right, it starts with the RDF.
I will make sure it is right when I get the final and am testing it.

Be aware that there are TWO remotes with sig 30333033. The 1055 has an AUX button, whilst the 1056 (OCAP) has the same button labelled VCR (plus the three TuneIN buttons are renamed, and two additional real buttons, SETTINGS and D - replacing 2 phantoms). I have looked at both IR and RM, and the distinction appears to be correctly displayed in both versions of the latest variant (0.02) of Bill's extender rdf's.

Ok thanks Capn. I dont' think I updated the rdf's when I moved over to 0.02. Thanks for the clarification.

I compared your RDF's to what I have uploaded/maintained. I've updated the 1025, 3032, 3000, 3033(not OCAP) RDF's in the File Section. Some of your RDF's have an an incorrect 012A in the protocols section. The 1025 has an incorrect Alternate keymap. The 3000 is missing the Add Transport entry in the Settings section. One RDF had the MultiMacro keys as F1,F2,F3 while the others had TuneIn1,2,3 so I changed it to be TuneIn1,2,3. Also, you can't use $3E as a keycode as that is defined as an AllOn Macro internal to the Atlas 3000 and 3033.
Please review what I have uploaded as individual RDF's and if it looks ok, incorporate it into your Zip and I'll delete my individual uploads. Thanks.

Thanks for those fixes, Binky - I didn't MAKE those rdf's, I just tried to keep them all together and updated in one place, so I have no doubt that yours are more correct. The only parts that I actually modifed were the actual filenames and the "NAME=" entries when I attempted to make them all display in a logical manner in IR's and RM's dropdown lists, and the OCAP [GENERAL] entries linking to the correct Map and Image files, so I leave all of the rest to you.
