Wow, they're certainly trying to make it hard to do accidentally. I have tested this and it does work.
- 1. Remove a battery from the remote and press a button with it removed.
2. Reinsert the battery, the LED should blink twice.
3. Press the digits 2 and 8 simultaneously within 6 seconds. The LED should blink twice and stays on.
4. Enter the code 9 8 1. The LED will blink 4 times.
