I took jon_armstrong's advice and found out most of the EFC codes for the oem remote, but the numeric keys didn't work in CATV mode. Also have trouble with the CH+ and CH- keys.

What we really need to see if an IR dump which contains all the learned signals.

The KM file
Motorola_DCP501-1.txt works now. The trick is to control the CATV functions with the CBL key using device code 0476. Thank you for those who gave input to this topic.
