Finish making your changes to the RM file then post that, then I'll convert it to an RV file.

I think I've just found what I was doing wrong. I was saving the file as S2002 without changing the setup code in the setup tab.

I'll let you know if I was able to finish doing all the buttons in the remote and I'll hopefully post the result!

Yup, that would do it. You should NEVER change the name of the binary file created by RM or it won't work.

Now I have done both the RM file and the BIN file but I have another problem. Everything looks ok, but none of the buttons where I changed the functions works anymore. It's strange because I made a few experiments and everytime I changed the functions assigned to a certain button that button stopped working, even if looking at Remote Master everything looks ok. I mean that the values in the functions tab are the same as before, but the button doesn't work.

Do you have any ideas?

I only removed (successfully) the PAGE UP and PAGE DOWN buttons and I assigned to the EXIT button the same function as the INFO button. The problem is that when I hit the INFO button it works properly, but when I hit the EXIT button (which should do the same function as the INFO button) nothing happens.

Why when I save the file to .bin all the functions that I changed don't work anymore? Did you find anything wrong in my file?

The changes I made to the file you sent me last night are the following:

1. Added a fast forward button
2. Added "primafila" function (this one works already, I don't know how I did it)
3. Added a tv guide button

The codes in the functions tab next to the two new buttons are good, i.e. they were working in the first version you sent me a couple of days ago, but they were assigned to the wrong buttons.

Also I don't understand why when I use the version of the remote I just uploaded the EXIT button is freezed, i.e. I cannot even click on it, but in the RM file it looks ok!

If you make these two little changes we'll finally have a working version of Sky Plus HD Italy that you can post in the forum.

I hope you are still able to help me. If you can't help me anymore just explain me how to do it or what I am doing wrong and I'll do it.

I just tried creating a bin from your RM file and my bin looks exactly the same as yours.

I think that there is something wrong in the way I save the file then.

Can you please post the .bin file in the upload section and send me the link to it?

I think that yours might work, as all our .bin files look the same but mine don't work while yours do work!

I am sorry that I didn't reply earlier to you, but I was away from home for a few days without internet access.

I tried the last file you uploaded, but no success. It is exactly the same as mine.

I don't know what else to try to make it work properly. It seems like when I delete a few buttons in the RM file something goes wrong with other buttons.

You don't have any explanation for this, do you?

I would like to thank you very much for all your help in trying to solve this issue, even if we haven't got to a final working version. If you can't help me anymore I'll keep the S2001.bin version though it's a bit messy as some buttons are assigned to the wrong function. If any member of the forum wants to help me I'll appreciate it.

I've got it!

The problem was that I had to use a new file name for every upgrade.

Now I finally managed to get a completely working version for MySky HD Italy decoder. It is only missing the coloured buttons, but it has everything else, including the Sky Plus buttons to record tv shows!
