I don't see how that file could ever have worked because it doesn't include a protocol upgrade and the $0161 protocol is not in the Slingbox. Furthermore, the $0161 protocol is too big to add to the Slingbox.

I have created a stripped down version of the protocol which (hopefully) still produces the same signal and have created a BIN file that uses it (called CBL/2000), so give this a try...

Unfortunately it did not. I added it to the slingbox using C2000 (the file was called C2000_PL), it retrieved the key map but it did not work.

I think my box is 5810, but would 5820 have the same code, in case I have it wrong.

Thanks.

Let us try something different. I can control the adb cable box with my Logitech Harmony One. It had the cable box in its database as Q77-TLN. Can anybody help?

Hi

I just went into the Harmony database and ADB is not a recognised Cable Box manufacturer. Where exactly are you looking ?
