How to free up memory?

Post by Rafa »

Is that possible to free up memory for using with learning feature?

The question is that I just need 1 macro, and I don't need space for upgrade, and I would like to use that memory space to learn more signals, because there are no protocols for my device (Samsung DVD-HR735) and the only way is to use the learning method.... or is there any other way to solve the problem?

My remote is the: URC-7555 OFA5 (One For All 5)
I', using the software: IR705

There isn't any way to use the other memory areas for additional learned memory. Your best hope is that one of the experts here will be able to figure out why your learns are not decoding and either point you at the correct protocol to build an upgrade or possibly build an new executor for that protocol for you.

For the experts to figure that out, you really need to post your IR file in the diagnosis section, and then post a link back here. The signal experts can't do anything without an IR file.
