you bet they generate revenue. they chew batteries worse than a lab puppy, at least my 2133 does. 3 weeks is the best we have done, the subwoofer jiggles it on way too much is my guess...

i'm not that happy with the 8811w either. its IR is not as effective so you almost need laser guided alignment ...

Do you need the ability to "press" the discrete off buttons or will you only be using them in macros? If it's the latter, you should program the functions to phantom buttons, there's no need to use up a real button with these codes..
