I have an exacto hobby saw and miter box that i bought as a set from a hobby place. It is used for cutting balsa wood for things like model airplanes. The saw is so thin and the teeth as so fine it would be perfect for the precision work you want to do. I would bet that you could almost cut the ...

If I understood you right you are cutting a 72 pin IDE connector into 6 pin connectors for JP1 interface cables?
The easiest way i did mine was to take a good hacksaw blade and use just the blade ( not installed in the saw). Cut the IDE connector with the blade and hold it with your hands or wrap it ...

Yes I got the extender code calc program and used it- It is nice to have! I did load two devices with toggle 0 and forgot about using different toggle bits for each device. After that though I did figure out by myself that I had to use different toggles.

I will try to get this thing working. I ...

OK I got the Toads down and working, but my last question is with the discrete commands.
I have discrete on and off for my denon devices, but they do not have hex values for toggle power. Even the remotes for the devices have seperate power on and off buttons. So with that in mind what do I put as a ...

Discrete commands- how to make a toggle out of them

I seem to have gotten the toadtog thing down, but in the example it tells how to set up a long key press on the power key. I am missing something because I tried it and cannot get the ...

So what you are saying is that I need to use the hex value for the BUTTON that the discrete on or off is assigned to and NOT the actual discrete on/off hex value?
If that is true then in IR the keymove would be bound to the button I want to use on the remote to activate the toggle and the device ...

2116 w/ Extender 2 won't work ToadTog on Combo protocol

OK here is my problem: I have a 2116 with the Extender 2 installed and working. 2 of my devices are Denons ( a DVD player and Receiver). The DVD player is brand new (the DVD-2200) and I had to build a device code for it and I used the Denon Combo protocol. The receiver also uses this protocol. Both ...
