Well, I think I need to re-learn what extender can do nowadays. No macro support is pretty bad. Probably it doesn't worth doing the mod. So which remote you guys like most? 15-2116? urc-9660? Since I almost always do device upgrade anyway, I'd like to find a remote has a lot of re-mappable ...

According to KM, CT-90047 has up to 69 useable buttons(in OEM setup), I got a such remote and want turn it into unverisal remote.
Understood that it has only has 128b eeprom, but according to Rob, it can be upgraded to 2k eeprom. I am wondering after the eeprom upgrade, can it accept new ...

I were helping a friends setting up a system using 15-2104. Every device works with 15-2104 except a Runco Plamsa TV. It uses a weird variation of NEC2. Instead transmitting a repeative NEC code, it repeatly transmits two back to back NEC codes. It looks like:
