Rob,

I see you sell the 6131 (mod) but what I'm more interested in is the 6131n (mod). Do you do special orders, or only those marked on the first sticky page. I bought my gf a 6131n recently and I like the layout better than my 8910, BUT it doesn't have the jp1 connector on it and I don't feel ...

Thanks Guys! That IR file you gave me worked great. Only one problem - I have no idea what you did and I want to be able to recreate it in other ir images...

For Mute, you added a keymove to override the punch thru. I'm cool with that.

For Fav, you removed the keymove I had, but what is the ...

Re: Problems keymoving to mute/fav on 8910

Can I get a recommendation for a PVR jp1 remote that has the connector already built in? This one's fine for me, for now, but when people come over, they're gonna have no idea where a,b,c etc are...

Hm. I just realized Rob sells these things, and better yet, sells them pre-modded... I might ...

Taking Mute (A) as an example, it is mapped to

Key Hex EFC
----- ------ -----
Mute F7 117

It is also "Learned" on CBL:L1.

1 Panasonic_Old 27 --- 47 F7 or F6 or F5 117 or 125 or 101
2 Panasonic_Old 27 --- 47 F7 or F6 or F5 117 or 125 or 101

Problems keymoving to mute/fav on 8910

I'm trying to make my 8910 a little more PVR-friendly by remapping:

Mute -> A
Fav -> B
Prev -> C

in CBL mode. It's really the most logical place for A,B,C... I was using the L keys for a while, but they are on entirely different ends of the remote... it just doesn't work very well for the way I ...

Another quick question that probably doesn't warrant its own thread...

Without getting too mired in the details, I understand that every function has an associated code pair that is broadcast on a button press. And I understand that most buttons can be paired with the shift key to send a different ...

That tells me that you haven't downloaded and extracted the RDF zip file. RM only knows about remotes that it can find RDF files for.

Now were gettin somewhere... unfortunately, I have downloaded and extracted the RDF zip file, but RemoteMaster doesn't seem to be aware of that fact.

Hmm ...

Hmm... Clearly I'm misunderstanding the tool here...

Do you really know the characteristics of your devices well enough to program the 8910 without decoding any learned signals?

I thought the point of these RM/KM files was so I didn't NEED to know that information... I probably need a little ...

jp1 programming offline...

I'm gonna take advantage of the "no such thing as a stupid question in this forum" clause...

So I purchased an 8910 remote yesterday. I ordered my jp1 cable today. I downloaded IR615, the latest RDFs, and Remote Master v1.49, along with all the KM/RM files for my devices I want to control. I want ...
