Where is the diagnostic area?

I think I'll need to do that. I was able to change the buttons but when I try and upload the remote nothing happens. The remote has different codes than what I am seeing in the IR screen.

When I change tabs or try and upload the remote, I get this error:

I'm in the Buttons tab. I think the problem is that the Functions I want are mapped to keys that aren't on my remote.
