My ACK-571 keyboard label reads: US S/N 506218690(P+P)

The receiver has a small sliding door on the back. I could not see any pinholes or adjust-ables. I could however see printed on the circuit board:

??ck-581 RXM
(8052)

?? Ack I assume.

Played with the protocol a bit.. increasing and decreasing the delay by adjusting the red byte.. it works great! The default 06 is a fairly close match to the keyboards delay.

I slowed it down a tad and now have it set at 08.

Thanks for the effort guys.

I did not mess with the protocol yet, it is darn close to the keyboard as is. Might be a touch slower when it gets up to speed and starts scrolling, not that this is a bad thing, the keyboard is way fast anyhow. I'll continue to evaluate.

Still smiling :D

The main thing I'm looking for is some good learns where the button starts repeating when it's held after about the same amount of time as it would if you were holding the keyboard button.

None of the learns behave this way they are fast out of the gate. The keyboard defintley has a ...

I have added a delay between the first send of the data portion of the signal and the subsequent sends. The delay time is adjustable by editing the red data in the protocol where "FF FF" would be the maximum delay and "00 01" would be the minimum.

Upgrade protocol 0 = 01 F1 (S3C8+) Solidtek ACK ...

Sorry for any confusion, but the Q key WAS learned under dvd 123 and 4.

Hmm.. I'll go back and retry.

You are right about SAT though they are also learned from the ack-571 keyboard.

off the top of my head they are:

L1 = ALT TAB TAB
L2 = ALT TAB
L3 = ALT
L4 = ALT F4

These where all quick tap ...

Yes a split second delay before repeat starts on keyboard.

FYI keyboard has two LEDs.

My first AQS keys are quick tap learnings:

A long hold learn would later deliver multiple characters so I never use it.

Here are the ...

The Quick Repeat Problem:

V2, V3 and V4 all give me repeating chars for as long as I hold down the remotes button on my URC-8910. Again the "quick repeat" rate is almost to fast to be very useful.

The original Solidtek ACK-571 IR Keyboard_KM.txt does not repeat for me, holding down X button only ...

I have tried V3 and V4 (not tried V2), and I do get a repeating problem.. but I don't think it is exactly what Xaust reports.

A very quick tap of say button X on my URC-8910 will delivery a single char "X" in notepad.

An average timed button press delivers double letters "XX".

And a slightly ...

Hey guys, thanks for all the effort.. I like to think this is a big part of what the JP1 forum is all about.

As for keys repeating I'll have to check into it a bit more. If you need any ack-571 learned keys I'm your man.
