Ok, got that problem fixed by attachin 150 ohm resistor on the Xantech IR input. Works great now.

I'm building one myself, and so I'd buy the IR receiver separately. I know it comes in a bundle with the Microsoft remote, but maybe I can buy the IR receiver alone ?
