Proofreading
Sorry guys,
Please ignore the P'erhaps more perplexing ...' at the bottom of the last post, I hit the Submit button before proofreading. Also it should be 'So isn't device 1 ...' instead of 'Do isn't device one ...' Next time I'll hit Preview before submit. Cheers.

Learned codes
Thanks gentlemen for your fantastic forum and for your clarification of functions versus codes for this newbie. Here's a couple related questions.
Learned codes:
The 'Up' key of the OEM Sony RM-YD010 learned onto my URC9910 was decoded by IR as Sony20 Dev26 Subdev114. In the upgrade of this topic ...

Thanks, your upgrade works also with my KDF46E2000
I went and rated your upgrade a 10. It works like a charm with my KDF46E2000. I was a little concerned at first since signals from the OEM Sony RM-YD010 that I learned on my URC9910 decoded in IR to many Protocol 20 OBC's. I think the protocol explanation is a little deceiving to say that only 4 ...

That does it. Apparently changing the Unit code to 0 was the big trick. The upgrade for the Dish 811 now works great. You might also note if the question comes up that it may be necessary to change the Protocol name from 'Dish Network' to 'Dish Network Combo' as I had to do to make the OBC codes for ...

Cleaning up learned commands
Hi, I have some noise in IR-decoded commands leaned from my Dish 811 satellite tuner onto my URC9910. Here's a link to the file. Is it possible to clean these up in IR (can you delete steps of a learned command)? Or is it best to work in KM on an upgrade and then install that? Thanks.

Thanks guys, As I imagined, just learning the basics is going to be half the fun. The 41 commands that Jon lists are also included in upgrade "Dish 811.txt". They even throw in OBCs 58,59, and 61 as addditional PIP commands (but they miss OBC 36 'system info' that Jon had in his list). On another ...

Thanks John,
The DecodeIR I installed is the latest beta (v2.14) so I'm guessing that its up to date.
I also picked up the Dish 811.txt file (is that what you mean by CCF?) for KM (v8.31) and opened it. It was set up for the Remotes 15-2117/15-2116 whereas I have a URC-9910 but changing remotes on ...

Learning from a Dish 811
Hi,
My USB cable arrived this week so I'm ready to start customizing my URC-9910B01. The device code for the Dish Network tuner is 775 but I will be preparing an upgrade so that I can get the page up / page down assigned (in addition to figuring out the signal so my dog will take out the garbage ...
