In fact I had re-set the remote with 9-8-1. What I meant by 'not completly reset' is, that after the reset I cannot connect with RMIR anymore.

In any case:
I could tet away without RMIR. Can someone tell me how to find the code for the imon-pad? I did setup 2037 via ...

I do not have any RMIR File stored. I originally configured via EZ-RC and then I just added this via RMIR:

I have now reset and set-up the remote again via the Display. Then I downloaded and uploaded again the Configuration via ez-rc.
After that, I updated the XSight Map in the Images folder.
I still get no Connection, but the Raw-Download data is different now. You can find it here ...

In fact, I think it is just a matter of being used to EZ-RC (I don't like it, but I am quicker with it, as I am further up the learning curve

Regarding the Device
I think the device should be MCE Compatible:
root@vdr:/lib/udev/rc_keymaps# ir-keytable

wow, thanks for your fast answer.
I have uploaded the file to my remote with RMIR. Unfortunately, I still get no output of the remote in Linux.
With the original Remote (which is a Thermaltake-MediaLab) I do get an Output.

I am a bit out of ideas.

I spent lots of time to get my Xsight Lite to send RC6 codes of the Microsoft MCE Remote.
