I'll try it, thanks!

But also see this old topic of mine to avoid repeating effort: https://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/viewt ... p?t=101355

VGA button from Philips RC19335021/01 (20PF8946/37 TV)

Hi all

I'm looking for the VGA button EFC from a Philips RC19335021/01 dedicated remote. I don't have the physical remote.

(TV model 20PF8946/37)

There are 4 discrete inputs: VGA, TV, HD, Radio

Where do I begin? I have a JTAG remote and have used Remote Master before.

Thanks

Well, I use 11454 only because it's listed first in the Philips TV section of the Insignia code list.

There are subtle differences between 11454 and 10054 in my usage. One thing that springs to mind is that on 11454 pressing menu twice shows&hides, but on 10054 it only shows - the second press ...

Some experiments using different setup codes that are known to at least operate some aspects of the TV.

Here are the results of sending 5 digit EFC codes 0000 to 00255 under each setup code.

#p 11454
00007 program list
00012 info
00013 recall
00044 standby
00047 smart audio
00049 mono/stereo ...

Any further ideas?
Did you try my original idea of adding a harmless button as the first step in the macro, just to sync the toggle bit?
Yes, thanks, it helped.

But I ended up starting from scratch and now just use the setup code rather than learned signals which avoids that toggle problem ...

No joy, STOP is same as others - TV IR lights up, but nothing of note happens.

Thanks for that.

Sadly, none of the buttons work at all - even those other than the transport buttons.

Could it be because it's based on setup code 1554 (that doesn't work with my TV) & RC5/6 Combo?

No luck with the Pict button from that upgrade, TV receives it but does nothing with it.

However the Source button from that same upgrade does bring up the source list.

Today I double checked and none of the above OBC do anything, though the TV IR panel does flash to signify it has received them.

Any further ideas?

Could we help you find a discrete for that particular setting?
Yes, that would be a great help.

I've previously tried but didn't have any luck: https://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/viewt ... p?t=101355

Just got around to trying this... it *almost* works!

Macro on JP1 is: Input;Up;Right
(this opens input menu, moves from top to bottom of list, confirms selection)
I have confirmed the Macro works from my JP1 remote.

Chunghop appears to learn Macro from JP1 remote.

But results are not as expected ...

What used to work with Harmony was to send a fast macro from JP1 and learn it in one shot.
I have tried that, but I was not aware macros could be different speeds? Maybe I should try a "fast" macro? How?

Try the URC mx-200 remote, you can get the software from remote central, under NXG.
