One thing's for sure. There's absolutely nothing we can do about this in terms of modifying either the interface or the remote itself.

It was not obvious to me when the COMBI mode was turned on. I found you can see it work when you press the keys (if you press the mute and previous channel buttons they are on the different modes) and it lights up the relevant mode and the combi lights together. As I mentioned my macro does not work ...

The PCB has the code URC 11-7950 R00 which leads me to believe it should be compatible with the URC7950 and this is listed as a JP1.3 in the spreadsheet.
