Okay got it to work.
I pressed "Power" + "Ok" on the Xsight and then insert the battery => "Upgrade Mode" was shown on the display.
After that Remote Master was able to read the remote.
Anyway I went to the EZ-RC website where I got a "new" (well same version I already had) firmware offered ...
