Thanks guys. What I found is that I have the Denon Combo protocol. Denon publishes most of the codes in hex format. There were, however, quite a few codes that I could not translate using IR tool.

Here is an example of one that I could not translate:

0000 0070 0000 0032 0080 0040 0010 0010 0010 ...

I just bought an AVR-X4000. I'm using the RS 15-100 and I'm able to learn commands from the Denon remote.

RM is telling me that the learned codes are Denon-K protocol with a device code of 4.

Using the learned EFC's and Denon-K protocol, I created a device upgrade in RM, but when I download it to ...

I removed the $147, BCD12 line from the RDF and things seem to working.
