Yes, the RCA has a JP1 connector, so you are correct that it is simply learning the DTV buttons to the RCA, then upgrading my 15-1995, like I suggested initially. Thanks.

Yeah, you now see my problem, right? The RCA is not RF. And there is a surveillance camera server is in the other end of the house. I use RF to switch between cameras. I know it is a typical geek problem, wanting to control everything from one remote.

15-1995 learning function.
Hey Thanks. I have had these 15-1995s for several years and didn't remember anything about them being learners, as it isn't mentioned anywhere in the user's guide. There must be a JP1 how-to somewhere, could someone point me to it?

Im sort of in the same boat. I have the maggotbox DTV from Wal Mart, and I must use an RF remote. I have a couple of old RS 15-1995 RF remotes that work fine, but they do not learn. I also have an RCA learning remote made by One For All with the JP1 connector which is not RF. I wonder if it would be ...
