This IR file has my own scheme with lots of comments. I have five device upgrades for my devices:
Denon AVR-1804-884 (1884).rmdu
Norcent DP302V DVD (1302).rmdu
Dish VIP211 (1211).rmdu
Sony PFM-42V1-PFM-42B1 Plasma TV (1042).rmdu
My HTPC (1111).rmdu
I use "long click device button" as "power on" action for setting up everything needed for setting up device in the "viewing mode" I use "long click power button" as power off everything action. I use discrete EFCs where available and ToadTog for other devices for power on/off. Use this scheme to get ideas.
