In each settings file for URC-6440, the first three device buttons are set with the same codes:
Tv-2051, PVR-1808, DVD-0713.
The Extra device buttons had different codes:-
1. settings Extra-1089
2. settings Extra-1269
3. settings Extra-0609
4. settings Extra-0490
In files 1-3, the codes set on 'Extra' device button were of necessity for particular types of device such as tuner or home theatre, which were not on hand for testing: as examples, codes for various makes of tuner were set, but could not be tested to see if they had been configured properly.
In file 4, by using instruction992, the 'Extra' device button had first been 'made into a DVD device button', then code0490 (for Panasonic DVD recorder model 'DMR-EX75') was set on it and tested to confirm that it worked properly.
