Key Mapping for the Cinema 7

This page shows how the key mapping bytes (in the device code part of an upgraded device code) are used.

NOTE: the 8th bit of each byte is used to indicate whether there are any more key map bytes coming, a ONE means that there are no more bytes.

The buttons mentioned at the bottom of each list as "n/a" are not mapped in this mode.

NOTE: In the Replay remote there are five modes, the first four are normal modes and are programmed in the normal way, these modes being 0=cable, 1=tv, 2=vcr and 3=cd/audio. The fifth mode is the mode used for the Replay codes, this is the only mode that gives mapping to all of the remotes buttons, this mode is 4. To program a button to use a type 4 code, you use the 987 command, like this...
