I have played a little bit with the device and finally managed to get it back to life

Why don't you load a copy of the EEPROM backup file to the file section and post a link to it here, just in case someone else has the same problem.
And just for reference, the 980 reset should be OK to use, it's just the 981 that will kill the Dream upgrade. _________________ Rob
