JP1 Remotes

Again, newbe. I have read all the forum but find no solution.
So I made simple jp1 cable for my 8040 (handmade pogo plug)
But when I connect the remote to the computer IR present me error message - When cable unplug or connector installed incorrectly "No response from remote. Make sure your interface is plugged into JP1 properly". When everithing looks Ok error mesage "No response from interface. Make sure the intarface is connected to the PC and you've specified the correct port. What does this messages mean? Why "no response from remote" when unpluged and "Interface error" when connected? Batteries are Ok (and changed different way), Port set correctly, all the wires connected correctly (tested by tester). I have 4V at 2 and 11 pins. What the problem. "Simple intrface Rev5" looks old and I can not catch the problem following it.
Interface cable looks good but doesn't work.
Help please. How to find the problem?

Nobody know what does it mean?

This happens to me fairly often. I just unplug and replug the cable each time it happens until it finally works. Sometimes I have to try it several times. I have Auto Detect selected on the General section of IR.

But what the difference between the messages? It was old version of IR described In manual and erorr messages are different. But understanding of these messages could help you to find the problem.
