IR 7.11 and Vista new install... Cannot set RDF path

I've searched and can't find an answer for this. I'm trying to set up IR 7.11 on a new clean install of Windows Vista. I'm getting errors. First, when I run ir.exe normally, I get error: Failed to set data for ". After clearing error msg IR launches. If I run IR as an administrator, it launches without error but when I try to set the RDF path it acts like it is accepting the change but it doesn't "take". It can't find the RDFs and when I recheck File>Set Directory>RDF path... the setting is back where it started before I attempted to change it. When I load any of my old ir files all fields show blank except General Notes. Are the any known problems with IR and Vista? Help!

Thanks anyway... solved my own problem. Using run as administrator allows IR to launch without error messages. Problem with setting RDF path was me! In the File>Set Directory>RDF path... dialog, I didn't properly select the RDF directory by double clicking, I only highlighted it with a single click and then clicked OK. Of course it didn't take. Dumb. All is well now.
