Any way to simulate button hold?

It seems that new series of the panasonic plasma tv's (TH-xxPV700) dont have a "Discrete Power On" command, anyhow in ordinary meaning, so this command only work if I hold binded button for about 1-1.5 seconds.
It sends hex command "$FF $83" (Protocol CD, Code 1250). I've tryed to make "key move" with such a command "$FF $83 $FF $83 $FF $83" - but no luck.
Is there any way to simulate button hold for 1-1.5 seconds?
Using IR 7.11 + JP1 + URC39730 (Dreambox V2)
P.S. I've read about LDKP protocol, but I dont understand, is it only for "extended" versions or it should also work in standard URC by only adding additional HEX code before the command?

In general, the LDKP protocol is only on extended remotes. There have been some cases where the LDKP has been back ported to the non-extended remote but those examples are few and far between.
As for holding, one of the things you can do is to do a protocol that has a large number of repeats. I've seen others do this in the forum, but have never done this myself.

Does this TV require a combo protocol and do other functions work?, Regardless,
In Panasonic Combo-speak on subdevice 0,
OBC 61(FF 43) is Panasonic Power toggle command.
On is OBC 62 (FF 83)
off is OBC 63 (FF 03).
In Panasonic, non-combo, same OBC, and for hex, drop FFs.
Instead of a keymove, did you try a macro of 2-3 of those ON codes on some button you can press?
Does it really not work at all or is it just slow to start up?
Perhaps you can try something else, for instance pressing a number or the channel+ button, or Tv/Vid instead. Those sometimes can turn the set on.
Yes, LKP is available in extender and for 8910 without the extender. Don't know Dreambox.
Toad Tog protocol is a possibility to make discrete from a toggle, but it too requires extender.

Let's not confuse the issue at hand. Increasing the DURATION of a signal cannot be addressed with the LKP protocol. The LKP protocol only allows you to program the remote to send two DIFFERENT signals based upon the duration of a BUTTON PRESS. It has NOTHING to do with the actual duration of the signals that are sent.
The only "simple" way (other than having an expert tweak a protocol executotr for you) that I am aware of that you can adjust the duration of a signal sent is by using the Device Combiner Special Protocol. Although the primary purpose of this Special Protocol is to allow you to combine upgrades for devices with different protocol and device parameters, one of the "side effects" or benefits of it is that within a DC upgrade, you can manually adjust the DURATION of each function you assign.
In either KM or RM, simply select the Device Combiner protocol and the included Help or Notes should walk you through using it.
