Nils,
The file is uploaded to the Diagnostics area, file name is "Kameleon9906 Extended (Test)". Please take a look and see if you can see what's wrong. Please also check my CD Device macro to see if I'm on the right track.
Thanks man,
Don
In the Key Moves section, everything works except for those associated with the AUDIO device. |

The 1518 device setup is a Panasonic combo protocol. Fpr the one on Audio 6 change the EFC/Hex to hex and ender C7 57. If that works , for each of the others take the hex values in the "Hex command" column , edit each keymove, and change the EFC/Hex field on the bottom to hex and enter C7 xx. Where xx was the hex value that you get from the keymove line.
The only one I am sure about is the Audio 6 so if the C7 with the others does not work try FF xx, DF xx, AF xx, and B7 xx _________________ Nils

Wow, I've been swamped.
I loaded up your most recent release, works very smoothly.
One thing (maybe I missed something), I can't seem to get shift to work when in HT mode. Thaings could be worse =)
Did anyone get back to you about the registeres for the backlight on the later remotes?
Have a great weekend! _________________ - Ninja |

Hey Ninja, I think the problem with shift in HT is due to the way the remote works. I noticed that also and even with it unextended it would not work. Try unloading the extender and see if it works so I can confirm my findings.
I am still tinkering with the backlight. I am actually working on the 8060 extender and this one has the same problem as the 9960 except now I have one I can test on. If I win on the 8060 the same should work for the 9960 _________________ Nils

Ninja, I just e-mailed you a zip file with 3 IR files for your test to see if the motion detector works with any of them. Since I had a 8060 with the same problem you have I was able to get closer to the problem and solved it on the 8060. So, I applied the same thought on the 9960

Do you need another tester? I'll be glad to test.

Robbie | Thanks.. The URC9960 Extender version 2.1 has been released and you can get it from the extender file section at jp1. Follow the links below my name.
There are some models of the 9960 that the backlight acts different on so you may or may not be able to turn the backlight on with motion but a keypress always wakes it up.
Let me know how you make out.
By the way, at the top of this forum for extenders there is an announcement for the URC9960 Extender with more info. _________________ Nils
