|
|
I added a device upgrade (Sony 1758) to the 1067A. It will not work. I tried it both in regular and extended.
This upgrade works fine on my other remotes. Any ideas? _________________ Paul |

in general it is always good to upload your IR and RM files to the diagnostic areas and post links when you are asking for help. It's very difficult to guess as to what is going on without looking into what you have done _________________ this JP1 stuff is a sickness! |

We need to see the files to figure out what is going on. I have a couple of guesses, but if I had the upgrade, and the IR file I could see if my guesses are correct or not. |

Paul, I think its odd that 0,4,5,6 all have the same hex. Do you have the RM file for this? I'd like to make sure the output matches the settings you are choosing in RM. |

I've tried uploading to my Comcast 1067A and then used CaptureIR to verify the ir output. It seems to output exactly what it is supposed to. See screen capture:
What kind of problem are you having? |

I don't use RM, only KM.
The problem is that the receiver does not respond to any commands. I tried this upgrade on a 8910, 15-2216 and Cinema7 and it worked fine.
So I am at a loss at this time to understand why the 1067 doesn't like it. _________________ Paul |

I don't see support for the 1067A in KM (I could be blind) so that may be the problem.
Post the KM file that you created and also the one that works on the other remotes so we can try to convert it for you in RM. _________________ Nils

I haven't seen 1067a support in KM either. I really wish the remote was supported by km, because I am familiar with the way KM works. I think trying to use an upgrade for another remote might be the cause of your problems. |
