Thanks for all the help Evan!
I should have been more clear, though. The volume and channel buttons work as they should. I want to lock the input button to only use the TV. Is this possible? |

Well there's no input lock but luckily there's a pretty simple solution.
Either in IR setup a key move on the Cable Input key that points to the TV input key or you can do it manually on the remote. If you also want the Aux to do the tv input repeat the process for that device and button.
Remap a Key
1. (Option) Press and release the device key to make it the default.
2. Press and hold the "Setup" button until a device key blinks twice.
3. Type in the code 994. A device key will blink twice.
4. (Option) Press and release the device key for the source device.
5. Press the key you want to copy to another
6. (Option) Press and release the device key for the destination device.
7. Press and release the button you want to put the code on.
If the remap is successful, a device key will blink twice. |

|
|
I am sort of new at this but spent a lot of time reading, great site. I have a 232 Olevia HDTV and recently using your info here, upgraded my comcast remote 1067 so it can work this TV. Everything works but the vol down. I made sure it was mapped and it was, but still doesn't control it. After using two remotes for a year, I almost have it down to one.
Any help is appreciated.
I used the above posted upgrade file. |

Referencing another file is not particularly useful, since IT worked for others. Upload YOUR KM or RM file to the diagnosis area and provide a link to it here. ALSO upload your IR file and do the same. Then somebody can take a look at what you have done and possibly help you. _________________ Beginners - Read this thread first
