JP1 Remotes

I have searched and found codes for the DViCO TViX M4000P. Ive attempted to look up and solve the migration of these codes into Remote Master so I can create the .bin file for use with the slingbox. I'm going round in circles.

These are the codes Im interested in and from reading the other forum posts they are probably an NEC1 protocol although the decode is a GAP indicator.

My problem is that I dont know how to represent these in Remote Master. From all Ive read I dont know how to enter this based upon the NEC1 protocol. The device = 96 , sub device = {command code}. Im just plain stuck!

Those signals are very similar in structure to NEC1, but they are not NEC1.

I don't think we have any protocol executor written yet for that protocol, and the Gap decode indicates I haven't programmed DecodeIR to understand it. I don't recall ever seeing it before (but my memory for such things isn't very good).

The timing (even the repeat part) is the same as NEC1. But the four bytes are: Device, OBC, zero, zero

In NEC1, the four bytes would be: Device, Subdevice, OBC, 255-OBC.

I think you'll need one of the experts to invent a protocol for you.

Is there any way of using the manual settings and utilizing fixed data to achieve the Device,OBC,Zero,Zero. Just wondering.

Is creating a protocol a massive amount of work Im all up for trying to create it myself?
