Good luck with this one. I've been looking for the same IR code for weeks. I emailed ViewsatUSA and they just ignore my email. I don't know what the big secret is, but is sure is stupid. Confused

My first post!
Gentlemen...I have found remote codes for the Viewsat 9000HD, but they are in a rmdu format and they have to be in the PL format as is the code for the Viewsat extreme S2047_PL and it works great with the SlingboxAV
I want to up gradee to the HD, but I still want My Sling controls!!
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks...hubbel Rolling Eyes

I read the sticky...but I don't see any mention of RMDU files to a _PL file!
Maybe this is over My head cause I am NOT a code writer !!All I need is the PL file for the Viewsat 9000HD,but then again many others are probably looking for the same thing!!! Thanks...

Well, you need to read and follow the instructions in that post to convert a rmdu file into a PL bin file.

Download the RemoteMaster program, open the rmdu file with RemoteMaster, change the remote to Sligbox w/ PL chip, and then select output binary file to make your BIN file.

The instructions in the readme provide more details, but that's the gist of it.

This is a diy site, so if you want somebody to do all of that work for you, you'll have to probably wait a while, or you could read it and do it yourself.

...and you don't have to be code writer. RemoteMaster is a very easy-to-use program with an intutive gui.
