5. Do you have a JP1 cable? No
6. Still have original remote? Yes
7. Checked the file section? Yes
8. Checked Pronto file section (at R/C)? Yes
9. Partially working setup code? No
10. Learning remote question? No. Want the IR codes to load into SlingPlayer. Don't need to load or have the IR codes in the learning remote.

...unless nobody in this forum has ever decoded and posted the file for this system previously, which appears to be the case. Depending on how badly you need this capability, you may want/need to invest in an inexpensive JP1 learning remote and cable in order to decode the OEM remote signals. You could probably score what you need on eBay for around $50.00 total.

Are you sure it's an IR device and not RF?

Oh, yeah. It's IR with red IR window and all on the receiver! The receiver/remote only have three settings/buttons -- one for each of two cameras and one for scanning automatically between the two cameras. I want to be able to just stay on one camera or the other on demand. I suppose it isn't the worst thing in the world if I can't control it and just leave it scanning between the two.

In the meantime, I did find in the "other devices" section of the SlingPlayer set up about 50 or so code selections. I didn't even know they were there until I looked more carefully. Mea culpa.

I will try to see if there is something generic in there that will control this device before I come back again with my hat in my hand looking for help.
