Hi,
Any advice greatly appreciated.
I have just purchased a Slingbox and have managed to set it all up with the exception of the Philips HDRW720.
The problem is not new, (there have been several forum discussions with this piece of equipment) whilst the Slingbox allows me to set up a remote control which works for the basic functions, I cannot access the HDD Browser Menu.
I have attempted to follow the advice in the below thread, using the
Philips DVD-HDD Recorder HDRW720-17 with Discrete Codes.rmdu file downloaded from this website.

Using Remote Master 1.81, I am able to get the slingbox to access the Y2004_RV.bin file by entering it as 'Other' as suggested. However my problem is that the 'Power' test does not work - nor do any of the other buttons. I have tried using various other code numbers and device types in case of conflict but without success!
I also thought that the HDRW720/17 model might use different codes from my UK HDRW720/05, so i built a JP1 cable and uploaded my codes from my One For All Control to compare. As far as I can tell the codes and protocols are exactly the same.
I am now stuck and desperate for any advice!

Think I have sorted it.
Found this Forum

Talks about problems with the Philips RC-6 Protocol. And suggests removing the 0058 entry from the [Protocol] section of the
BINRV (Slingbox with UEI RV Chip).rdf file used by Remote Master.
This seems to have cured the problem, I can now access the menus i wanted to do.
Some further tweaking required but almost there.
Thanks anyway, the info on these forums has been no end of help.
