I've been updating files in the diagnosis area, but they don't seem to be updated.
If I Edit the file, and then pick up the corrected zip, should that replace the old zip?
I probably am doing something wrong locally, but I am wondering if my technique with the website is wrong.

You're probably seeing a cached version of the file when you try to re-download it.

Certainly vickyg2003's file was the same as previously (I being the lone soul who appears to be trying out the 8820 extender).
Just tried uploading a small .JPG and then editing, re-uploading with same filename and it worked fine for me.
Created file and uploaded it
Found my file and checked it downloaded OK
Found file again
Clicked Edit
Clicked Browse to select new source file
Clicked Edit File button
Downloaded new file, same name, succesfully
