|
|
Hi @all,
first: I found device (my) for KENDO DVD 2650 DIVX, not included in Database CODE: 0743
My questions:
1. Has anyone a Keymaster-file like for Dream-IRC ?
2. I want to use the Keyboard also for a PC-VDR (will be build in future)
What IR-Interface should I buy or what Kind of Linux software can I use?
Thanks Emanuel |

sorry for my bad english,
The Kendo-DVD works fine on Dream-keybord/ir with
Code 0743. It was just an info for your
Device.xls or for Dreambox user.
question:
Has anyone made a KM file for the Dreambox-keyboard?
(I need it for adding an other dev to Dream-keyboard)

There are several Dreambox files in the SAT folder, is that what you're looking for? If you have a Dreambox keyboard yourself, why do you need a Dreambox upgrade for it? _________________ Rob

Hi Robman,
1. I also want to use the Dreamkeyboard for a PC.
2. I want to add my selfmade TV device KM-file to the Dreamkeyboard,
because it is more user-friendly (including Timerfunction). I made it for the Dream-ir a year ago.
The files in the Sat folder are all for Dream-ir.

You asked for a Dreambox keyboard upgrade, whereas what you're really looking for is the ability to create upgrades that you can load into the Dreambox keyboard.
You can do this, but you will need to use RM as the kb has not been added to KM. _________________ Rob

@Robman
I tryed to add a device with RM before, but I only got a lot of errors.
I think the RM-software has got a problem loading the *.rdf file of the Dreamboxkeyboard.
It was my first use of RM, perhaps I made a mistake. For the Dream-ir-control I made it with KM.
This is the reason why I'm looking for a KM file.
Can you please try to load the Dreamkeyboard file from the forum into RM? There is also a post with an IR-backup in the forum for a test, perhaps I made a mistake.

You're right, there is an issue with the RDF, the first entry in the [DigitMaps] section is incorrect. Unfortunately, there isn't a correct value to go here yet, which is probably why it's set to 999 right now, but RM doesn't like that value. If you change it to 400 (for now) you should be good to go.
In the VERY unlikely event that you create an upgrade where the numeric buttons don't work, and you notice that the 2nd byte of the generated upgrade is "01", change the "400" value to "401" and try again. _________________ Rob
