using slingbox AV in Hong Kong

I am looking for the BIN file for the Hong Kong NOW Broadband TV STB. The new slingbox AV does not support that STB but my old PAL slingbox classic does. Is there anyway to 'extract' the IR code from the classic and then transfer it for the new slingbox AV?

I am willing to do everything from scratch like capturing the IR code and then create the BIN file using Remote Master. Seems like this could be done using a Radio Shack of OFA remote but they are just not available in Hong Kong. Are there any other ways to do it? May be using the IR sensor on the pocket PC or USB IR sensor?

I have emailed Sling to see if they can help with this. If the PAL box can control your unit, it means they have the code. What brand/model, etc do you have to select when you use the PAL box?

Brand: NOW TV HK
Device Type: YX-5218A
