now that I've tackled Extinstall, I have a few things that I'd like to add to the assembler. That's likely to be my next target....

1: I want an "ASCII" or "TEXT" directive that puts in bytes of text instead of having to do signatures with DB directives. Is this a big deal, no, but why not....

2: I want to put a "comment" or "notes" directive that will allow me to enter text into the output file (specifically the hex file) so that I can put notes in that will then be read and inserted by Extinstall. This way, I can put notes in that will identify the keymoves, devices and protocols that are shipped along with the extender and those will be migrated into the configurations of those who use the extender. (I did this manually by adding the text to the end of the 9960B01 extender files but the ASM file should be able to do this easily)

Any other requests?
