8910 Success, Macros and Thanks

First, thanks for the help... primarily to Robman who hung in there through my many blockades, but I finally have what feels like an excellent setup for;

a URC-8910 controlling;

Pioneer VSX-515 Rcvr/Amp/AVSwitch
Samsung DVD-V4600 DVD/VCR
Samsung DTB-H260F HDTV Terrestrial Rcvr
Optoma DLP Projector
Windows Media Streaming Audio/Video
Sony CDX-GT310 Compact CD/Tape/Tuner
X10 16 unit IR
Lasko Tower Fan

Includes system on, system off and Optoma aspect ratio toggle macros .

The surprise of the day was that it was stone simple to use macros on the device buttons themselves to set the Pioneer A/V Switch when switching between different device buttons. As big as that is for me, it's going to be huge for my non-techie wife.

(I had always assumed that using a button that called itself within it's own macro would generate problems.)

After I polish them a bit, will upload the Pioneer VSX-515 and Samsung DVD-V4600 keymapmaster files... the pioneer has at least one residual issue I will need to come back for help with.

In case anyone has gone before, I will now be working on setting up some windows macros so the 8910 can pick and launch shortcuts for playlists, video and audio urls on the XP box (not a media center computer)

Thanks again,
Beverly Howard

If you were running an extender, that would be a problem, but in un-extended remotes, when you include a button in a macro that has a macro programmed to it, it performs it's original function.
