Ruwido R-step protocol (non UEI) onto Slingbox

Hi I have a Samsung STB that uses th Ruwido R-step 56khz IR protocol - is it possible to get this on to the slingbox?
I have tried using decodeCCF and it generates this
0000 004A 0012 0011 000E 001C 000E 000E 001C 001C
as this is not a OFA/UEI protocol (OBC/EFC) how would this be possible?
I can provide the protocol spec if people are interested.
Below is the learned IR signal using a Pronto.
0000 004a 0012 0011 000e 001c 000e 000e 001c 001c 000e 000e 001c 000e 000e 001c 000e 000e 000e 000e 000e 000e 000e 000e 000e 000e 000e 000e 000e 000e 001c 001c 001c 001c 000e 000e 001c 001c 000e 1338 000e 001c 000e 000e 001c 001c 000e 000e 001c 000e 000e 001c 000e 000e 000e 000e 000e 000e 000e 000e 000e 000e 001c 001c 001c 001c 001c 001c 000e 000e 001c 001c 000e 1338
Thanks in Advance

Do you have a complete Pronto CCF file for this device, or at least a complete set of Pronto hex? I would need to see the complete set before I could create an upgrade for it.

Rob,
thanks for the quick response, I am currently travelling and not able to capture more key codes but I have a simple ccf file with 1 key which were the above code came from. I also have the R-step protocol definition.

I don't need a CCF file anymore, the spec has everything I need in it, including the OBCs, now I just need to find a spare moment to write the executor.
I'm going to move this thread over to the Protocol Decodes forum so I can find it again in the future.

Could you give me the exact model number of the STB so that when I create the upgrade, I can label it corectly. Also, do you know what Hilfe, Seite and javeo mean? They are button names in the PDF.
The one button code that you posted, is this from the VoD button?

The Samsung STB model number is SMT-H6140.
This remote was create for an IPTV vod system in Germany.
Hilfe = Help
Seite = Page up and down
Javeo = My Portal / My Favorites (Javeo is the name of the project)
I thought this was the code for the Guide key. I captured the Guide and the Vod key.

I've created JU, PL and RV binary files for this device here:
http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... le_id=4789
I haven't tested the protocol myself yet, so no promises. I've assigned all the less-common buttons to the "INPUT" buttons, but I don't recall what that translates to in the Sling remote. Once you've verified that it works, I can provide an RM file that you can then use to customize the button layout.

Hmm, no luck I am afraid.
I tried the C2000_RV file, I tried all the keys and didn't get a response. I tried all keys just in case.

Rob,
I have created a ccf file with some of the major keys 0-9, Ok etc..

Out of interest I did try the other binaries but with no success.
Hope this helps.

Hi Andy,
In order for me to fix this upgrade, I need to carve out some time to test it by programming it into one remote and then learning it into another, so I can see if the signal is what I expected, then make any fixes needed. This just hasn't made it's way to the top of the "to do" list yet.
