URC-6131 RDF question

If you have a new remote that isn't recognized by RMIR, post the details here so we can help create a new RDF for it. Or, if there is an issue with an existing RDF or map, this is the place.

URC-6131 RDF question

Post by The Robman »

I just noticed that there is an RDF for the URC-6131 in the main zip file that's labelled "FIXED" which dates from Jan 2006 (the rest mostly date from July 2005), so I ran a quick compare and the difference is that the $45 keycode (CC) has been added to some of the button maps. Does anybody know what the story is with this?

Rob, I am out of town now and don't have all my remote stuff with me so I will check my history logs when I get home and let you know.

Off the top of my head I don't remember leaving one in there with FIXED in the name but who knows.

Is that the same file as the one for URC-6131NW that is in the RDF section separately?

There seems to an explanation there, in the description section.

So, is this the RDF tha you would use after doing the mod to seperate the CC and Audio buttons on the 6131N?
