Have you tried all the different battery combinations with the 7562...

Hi Rob thanks for replying, yep tried different batterys in different states of discharge but still no luck with either of my 7652s. Followed the simple parallel interface rev4.1 instructions and used 1k resistors although 10k were shown in the schematic so wonder if its worth experimenting with different values ?

Where did you find an old 4.1 version of the Simple design? The current version is version 5.0. 1k is the correct value for the resistors.mkazl2003 wrote:Followed the simple parallel interface rev4.1 instructions and used 1k resistors although 10k were shown in the schematic so wonder if its worth experimenting with different values ?

All sorted now thanks Rob, waved the soldering iron over the joints on the DB25 must have been a dirty or oxidized joint on one of the resisters as the interface is as old as the instructions I used, downloaded them must be a couple of years ago but got distracted through work comitments, thanks for your help anyway Rob.
